M.Ed. Course

Eligibility:

Applicants must have at least 50% marks in B.Ed. / B.A.-B.Ed. / B.Sc.-B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / D.El.Ed. along with a valid undergraduate degree. Relaxation in marks is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.

Duration:

2 years (full-time, Regular)
Divided into 4 semesters as per NCTE norms.

Admission Process:

• Application Form: Candidates must fill the online application form available on the official CCS University portal.
• Entrance Fee: The prescribed entrance fee must be paid online — ₹700 for General/OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST candidates.
• Entrance Test: Applicants are required to appear for the Combined Entrance Test.
• Merit List: The merit list is prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance test.
• Counselling: Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling, where they must present original documents for verification.
• Seat Allotment & Admission: After successful verification, candidates are allotted seats, required to pay the course fee, and complete all registration formalities to confirm admission.

Documents Required:

• Print-out of the filled application/entrance test form (downloaded from university website) for submission at the time of counselling.
• Self-attested copies of all mark sheets and certificates of previous qualifying examinations:
  • High School (10th) certificate & mark sheet
  • Intermediate/Senior Secondary (12th) certificate & mark sheet
  • Undergraduate degree certificate & mark sheets (if required)
  • Qualified B.Ed./B.A-B.Ed./B.Sc-B.Ed./B.El.Ed./D.El.Ed. as required for eligibility
  • Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates) if claiming reservation/relaxation
  • Date of Birth certificate
  • Income certificate / applicable weightage certificates (if applicable)
  • Character Certificate / Good Conduct Certificate (where applicable)
  • Aadhaar Card or other valid identity proof for verification
  • Migration/Transfer Certificate (if coming from other university/board)

• Core Courses: Philosophy of Education, Psychology, Sociology of Education
• Specializations (varies): Educational Technology, Guidance & Counseling, Curriculum Development, and Educational Management
• Research Work: Dissertation/project/thesis
• Field Work/Internship: Practice teaching, institutional visits, etc.

Scholarship Facilities:

The institute provides scholarships to a number of students every year across all courses—M.Ed., B.Ed., B.El.Ed., and D.El.Ed.—in accordance with government policies and norms. Eligible students belonging to various categories such as SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and economically weaker sections receive financial assistance as per the guidelines issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and other concerned authorities.
