Placement Committee
Introduction
Institute Of Teacher Education has its own Placement Cell constituted on 1th January 2010. It is actively involved in providing the placement to its student- teachers. The cell makes registration of the student- teachers willing to work with private or Govt. schools. Thereafter, the cell gathers information regarding the subject wise vacancies in various schools through news papers, classified etc.

• To find out the strength and needs of the students.
• To enable the students for facing the interviews in field, they desire.
• Provide guidance on occur issues related to placement in the profession
• To provide employment opportunities to student teachers.

Functions
The Placement Cell has been assigned the following function.

• Registering names of the student-teachers who need jobs.
• Collecting information relating to the vacant posts available in Govt. / aided/ private schools through news papers, alumni, and colleague and from practice teaching schools.
• Display the notice of vacancies
• Recommending student- teachers for vacant teaching posts in various schools.
• Maintaining a record of the student- teachers who have got placement in school.
• Providing training to the student-teachers such as interview facing techniques, communication skill & resume writing.
• Updated the record of the placement.
