ITE is conducting M.Ed., B.Ed. B.El.Ed. & D.El.Ed.(B.T.C.) courses. These courses will be conducted in accordance with the statutory requirements prescribed by NCTE and Ch. Charan Singh University, and SCERT , U.P. Meerut.
B.Ed. Course: (College Code : 964) (Two Year Course)
The institute follows the admission policy laid down by the C.C.S. University. Students are admitted through a common entrance test conducted by the state government. The students are admitted on the basis of merit in the Combined Entrance Examination and Counseling by Authorized University.
Eligibility criteria:
The applicant should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks for general category & O.B.C and passing marks for category falling under SC/ST candidates. Students who have scored less than 45% marks in Graduation can be admitted only if they have passed Post Graduation with minimum 45% marks.

M.Ed. Course (College Code : 964) (Four semester course):
Students are admitted through an entrance test for M.Ed. conducted by C.C.S University, Meerut. The students are admitted on the basis of merit in the entrance test for M.Ed.
Eligibility criteria:
Admission to M.Ed. course is governed by the conditions laid in relevant G.Os of C.C.S. University Meerut. However, an applicant will be eligible for admission to this course only when he/she has obtained 55 percent marks (but not less than 50% in theory and 50% in practical separately) in B.Ed. degree examination. Therefore, only those students whose B.Ed. results are complete on the date of application may apply for admission. The merit of an applicant will be calculated on the basis of full marks in theory and 50 percent of marks obtained in practical in B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized examination plus marks obtained in entrance test for M.Ed.
Assessment process in M.Ed. : There are three theory papers and one practical examination in each semester. Each theory paper and practical examination is of 100 marks. A weightage of 50 marks is given to internal assessment and 50 marks to the external assessment. Internal Assessment: Internal assessment of 50 marks in each theory paper shall be based on:
- Two tests each carrying 15 Marks.
- Two quizzes each carrying 5 Marks.
- Seminars/Term papers/Home assignments carrying10 marks in all.

Eligibility criteria:
Pass in graduation/post graduation (in any discipline) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any Indian University.
Note:
Minimum eligibility conditions regarding the percentage of marks in any of the above courses do not apply in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates.
