D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education)

Eligibility:

Passed 10+2 (Intermediate/Senior Secondary) from a recognized board.
Minimum marks: 50% for General with 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH (as per NCTE norms).
Admission through entrance exam or merit list depending on the state/university.

Duration:

2 years (full-time), divided into 4 semesters.

Admission Process:

• Official Notification: Issued by the Exam Regulatory Authority, Prayagraj.
• Online Application: Candidates fill out the online form and pay the application fee.
• Merit List Preparation: Based on marks in High School, Intermediate, and Graduation. No entrance test conducted.
• Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Candidates select preferred colleges (DIETs/private). Seats are allotted by merit and category.
• Document Verification & Admission: Admission is finalized after verification of original documents and fee payment.

• Core Papers: Child Development, Educational Psychology, Society & Education, Inclusive Education.
• Pedagogy Subjects: Teaching of Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Environmental Studies.
• Practical Work: School Internship, Microteaching, Lesson Planning.
• Workshops & Activities: Art & Craft, Drama, Yoga, ICT, Physical Education, Community Work.

Scholarship Facilities:

Scholarships are provided to eligible students in all courses (M.Ed., B.Ed., B.El.Ed., D.El.Ed.) as per Government of Uttar Pradesh guidelines. Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and EWS categories receive financial aid according to norms.
